The caravan park describes itself as being in a “natural bush setting”. There are warnings about “wearing appropriate footwear” – though these are mostly ignored – and small beasties are everywhere. Spiders and ants are a constant foe in the outdoor area and the early morning silence is often broken by the call of the magpies, kookaburras, cockatoos, and galahs. We haven’t seen any lizards or snakes as yet but I’m sure they aren’t far away. We were totally surprised, however, by the small furry creature that crossed a path some 50m in front of us. It just goes to show that feral bunnies are everywhere.
