On a hot sunny day, there appears to be no “good” time to visit the park’s swimming pool. It’s always overflowing with children and young parents splashing about and playing games. Sun bed spaces are limited as older parents soak up their essential vitamin D while their children run amok nearby. The place is usually packed. Except for the magical hour between 6pm and 7pm when dinner is served and younger children are prepped for bed. In that hour you can pretend you’re the only people in the park and the pool is part of your own personal paradise.
